      Why winter

Twelve weeks. One number that went up. Done before spring tryouts.

      Spring athletes

Baseball, softball, lacrosse, track and spring soccer. Twelve weeks of work that finishes ahead of spring tryouts, with the numbers on paper.

      Fall athletes

Coming off the season? Rebuild the speed and power the season wore down before the next one starts.

      Winter athletes

Basketball, wrestling, hockey and swimming. Programming respects your in-season schedule.

      Recruits

The Performance Report puts before-and-after numbers in one document you can share with a college coach.

Every athlete starts from a different place. Individual results vary.

      Measured outcomes

Measured on day one. Measured again in week 13.

Typical first-cycle ranges for healthy high-school athletes training the full twelve weeks, measured on our own timing gates and jump mats. A range we see, not a guarantee.

        Train the four pillars

        1. Acceleration The first three steps, the quality every sport uses most.
        2. Initial Force Generation More force, sooner. Powers the jump and the first step.
        3. Center of Mass Management Cut, stop and turn without losing speed.
        4. Max Velocity Top speed, which raises the ceiling on the other three.
      3. 03 · Week 13

        Taper and test out

A lighter taper week, then the same tests on the same equipment, so the change is measured, not guessed.

        The KPM Performance Report

Performance Rating, Athletic Currency, Performance Limiters and every number before and after, side by side. A report the athlete can share with a college coach. It documents performance; it does not promise recruitment.

      Winter questions

      Before you reserve.

When does it start and end?
The first session is Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Twelve weeks of coached training, then a week-13 taper and test-out.
      What confirms a reservation?
The test-in. Choose your slot on this page, then buy the one-time test-in (a Gait Analysis for new athletes, Effective Range Measurements for returning athletes) and pick your test-in day. That holds your spot. The first month of training is not paid in advance.
Can we change tracks or times during the cycle?
No. Each athlete keeps one track and one time slot for the whole cycle, unless Josh confirms an exception. That keeps every slot at 8 athletes per coach and makes the test-out a fair comparison.
Why do spots open in groups of 8?
Every group trains at 8 athletes per coach. Spots open 8 at a time, and the next group opens as the current one fills. The board shows how many are filled in each slot.
What happens when a slot sells out?
When a slot is full for the cycle, the board marks it Sold out. You can pick another time or join the waitlist below, which goes to Josh.
Where is the Track 2 Saturday session?
Every Saturday at 8:30 AM, 90 minutes of max-velocity work at Atlantic Christian School, 391 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township. It is one of Track 2’s three weekly sessions and is included automatically. Tuesday and Thursday are at KPM, 514 New Road, Somers Point.
Can we start before December 1?
Yes. Tick “We’d like to start before December 1” when you reserve your slot, and Josh will set up your early start.
What if we miss a session?
Up to 3 missed sessions are added on at the end of the training block.
      How does payment work?
The one-time test-in is paid at checkout: $261 for a Gait Analysis (new athletes) or $114 for Effective Range Measurements (returning athletes). The test-in is what holds your spot. Training is $444 per month for three sessions a week; the first month is not paid in advance, and monthly billing starts on your first day of training.
How old does my athlete need to be?
12 and up, middle school through college. Younger athletes (5–11) train in Young Guns.
Does this work for my athlete’s sport?
Yes. Acceleration, force production and change of direction decide outcomes in nearly every sport. We’ve worked with athletes across football, baseball, soccer, swimming, hockey, softball, lacrosse and track.
      What about injuries?
Physical therapy is in the building, run by our partners at Spectrum Fitness Rehab & Peak Performance, their own practice. Tell us about any injury before the test-in, and bring any clearance; we build around it. KPM testing measures performance; it is not a diagnosis.
      What should my athlete bring?
Normal training kit is fine. We recommend, but don’t require, the Antepes Muscle Runner; code KPM gets the athlete discount.
